Devghar by Nirmanam

Devghar is a dedicated space within the house and is considered sacred creating a serene environment in the entire house. It is the utmost important entity in the house where all the family members gather and connect themselves with the divine. It is basically considered the heart of the home.

One such elegance has been designed by Mr. Nimai Kumbharkar, Founder of Nirmanam. He has incorporated the concept of an Indian temple theme and designed such extravagance. With more than two decades of experience in the field of designing, Mr. Kumbharkar and the team had created unique and traditional designs with a touch of modernism leaving everyone spellbound. Usually the peshwai temple's internal sanctum is a small dark room surrounded by thick walls. The look of Devghar is enhanced by the Basalt stone which is a natural formation and exactly meets the requirements of the concept. It is known for its durability, aesthetic appeal, resistance to wear and tear and the dark gray color represents its connection with the earth. Contrary to the dark walls is the fresh white marble flooring which adds vibrancy to the room. The ceilings are panelled with bright spot lighting electrifying the atomosphere with the lower-lighting corners also hoisted perfectly. Simple aesthetics, a minimal material palette, and the connections to the peshwai style temple are the main chauffeurs to the design of this ethnic style Devghar. Alongside of the elevated altar are the customary brass lamps referred to as “Laman Divo '' that have been engraved with the finest hands and the warm LED lighting behind the deity magnifies the emergence. Devrghar is designed symmetrically with the main entrance and the central sanctum wherein the main entrance is elevated by the hand crafted raw basalt curved stone diyas coated with shining sealants. The Swastika symbol adorned on the wall strengthens the sanctity of the room.
